1. DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO TRY DRESSES ON?
Yes, we work by appointment as we only have one bride trying on at a time. This way you will receive our full attention and have the whole shop to yourself. We usually allow an hour and a quarter for an appointment which we find will give you enough time to try as many dresses as you want without rushing too much!
2. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
You don't have to bring anything with you. A strapless bra if you have one is handy for trying on but we can always tuck the straps down. Some people prefer to go bra-
3. HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?
We are happy to welcome your guests, we suggest you limit the number to two to three people whose opinions you truly value and who will be happy to help you make your big decision!
3. WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE OF YOUR DRESSES?
Our dresses generally range from £900 -
4. WHAT SIZE ARE YOUR SAMPLE DRESSES?
Our sample range from size 10 -
5. WHEN DO I NEED TO START LOOKING FOR / ORDER MY DRESS?
We suggest that you start looking for your dress anything up to year before your wedding date as you don't know how long it will take you to actually find 'The one!' Our designer's dresses generally take four to five months to arrive in the shop. We then like to leave around six to eight weeks for your fittings and alterations so recommend you order your dress at least six to seven months before your wedding. Although we have taken orders anything up to two and a half years before the wedding date! If you don't actually have six months until your wedding date then don't panic! Some of our designers do rush orders and we also have our sample sale of dresses that you can buy from stock. We will always try to help you find a dress no matter how long you have until your wedding day!
6. DO I NEED TO PAY IN FULL WHEN I ORDER MY DRESS?
No, we ask you to leave a 50% deposit and pay the balance when the dress arrives four to five months later. If you buy a sample dress we ask you to pay in full and take the dress away with you.
7. DO YOU STORE THE DRESS FOR ME?
Unfortunately we don't have anywhere for storing your dress. We let you know as soon as it arrives at the shop for you to come and try it on and collect it. We provide you with a fabric dress carrier to store it in until you come back and see us for your fittings around six to eight weeks before your wedding.
8. DO YOU CHARGE FOR ALTERATIONS?
Yes, unfortunately alterations to your dress are an extra cost. Although we highly recommend you use our seamstress, you are not obliged to. All fittings are done at the shop and overseen by us. It is hard to give a cost for alterations until we have seen you in your dress but on average people spend between £200-
